Building a Better Merrimack
The Merrimack Town Democratic Committee is a group of individuals committed to electing Democrats in NH to local, state, and federal office.
We are working together to build strong schools, safe and welcoming neighborhoods, and a thriving community.
We believe
That investment in public education and infrastructure should be a priority because it benefits all members of our democracy and promotes a strong economy.
That climate change presents a real and imminent threat, and it is our responsibility to proactively address and counter its effects. We support climate action plans based on sound science, with clearly specified timelines and goals so that future generations inherit a healthy environment.
It is our responsibility to provide clean air, water, and food for ourselves and future generations.
That we have a responsibility to protect the rights that so many before us fought to secure: equal rights, voting rights, the rights of the disabled, and workers rights.
That our neighbors deserve affordable healthcare, access to mental health care, and addiction services.
Our neighbors deserve to feel safe in their communities regardless of their color, religious beliefs, country of origin, sexual orientation, or how they identify.
That we need living wages that allow families to thrive, affordable workforce housing, consumer protections that include clean water and air, and integrity in our elections.
That veterans deserve better health care, including mental health care and suicide prevention support.
That science and journalism hold truth to power.
That our progressive values sustain a middle class and allow for upward mobility for all.

National Night Out
Monday, 8/4/26, 5:30-6:30PM at Merrimack High School.
Bring your family to visit with all the organizations in town who work together while nurturing police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie. The MTDC booth will have games and raffles for both adults and children.

Bring your leashed pup and join your neighbors for hot dogs and great company.
The League of Women Voters will have Information about Voter Registration, Polling Location and Absentee Ballots.
